We just bought a new sleeper sofa with the upgraded Air Dream mattress. When the sofa was delivered we tested the mattress. It did not inflate. After several weeks a replacement was delivered today. It did not inflate either. The delivery person said that he has the same problem with several customers with this product. I await the third replacement and would not recommend this mattress to anyone.

As I work overseas, I sleep for weeks on this mattress. It inflates in seconds and is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Other people simple don't believe it's an air mattress until I show them. I'm ordering one now for my new apartment overseas.
The mattress is a lot cheaper from the company than from this website! And you can order just the bladder, not the whole spring system. Sounds like previous user may have had an operational error ?

Very interesting alternative to a "bed", February 24, 2011 By Marcia M. (East Texas) - See all my reviews This review is from: Queen Air Dream Sleeper Sofa Replacement Mattress I have slept on this inflatable sofa sleeper mattress many a day through the years, visiting my mother. It's a great alternative to a bed which takes up too much room. The compressor attaches quickly and does it's job fast. I just wish it put out a little more pressure. My 300 lb. weight kind of sinks through the softness, and after a week of sleeping on it, I will get back aches. So more pressure/firmness would be supportive. But there are no ridges or bumps from the leg mechanism, it's nicely flat. It deflates quickly, too, and folds up neatly even with several blankets still on it.
One worry: typically an air compressor will produce condensate inside it's receiver which can produce mold if not drained. There is no way to dessicate the interior of the mattress to get this residual moisture out. I don't know if it's there or not, and if it is, what biologicals are growing inside? How does one get it out? I'll probably have to toss the whole mattress eventually... Read more
